From time to time our Donors and Supporters ask if Lead Like Jesus has received any special requests from partners that might be supported by an extra financial gift. Consequently, we’ve developed this confidential page in an effort to make our Donors and Supporters aware of some of the opportunities that have recently come our way. Special Project #1 - Printing of LLJ Study Guides in Japanese - We already had someone donate money for the Japanese translation and now he is seeking to print these LLJ resources and training to Japan and the Japanese diaspora around the world. He currently teaches at a Bible institute in Japan and would like to include it there. The goal is to publish 2,000 copies through Word of Life Press in Japan to be made available through their chain of Christian bookstores and web page https://www.wlpm.or.jp/en/wlpm-introduction/. The cost for this is $10,000 which will cover publishing and shipping costs. Special Project #2 - Nigeria is one of the countries most persecuting Christians right now. For about $8 per student, we can train tens of thousands of students in Nigeria in our student program, Ignite. We are even allowed to train in public schools there because they see the impact on the behavior and performance of the students after our training. We have already trained over 50,000 over three years before the pandemic began. We have an opportunity to change the country from within from the youth up. Special Project #3 - Middle East Encounter Training - Michael Okuneye, our Reg Rep for Northern Africa/Middle East, has been working with our National Rep in Egypt for a while. Our Rep has finally decided that he doesn’t have the time to devote to LLJ so Michael has been looking for some other opportunities in Egypt. He has many contacts in the area and has the chance to take the Encounter training to around 100 leaders in the Middle East. He has funding for the visa and logistics within the country. He is seeking a sponsor for his airfare which will be around $1400. If you would like more information please contact [email protected].
